Pokemon: Pikachu's Vacation (Rainbow Brite edition)
Chapter One: Two worlds about to collide (so to speak)

    Ash, Misty, and Brock walked around the Indigo Plateau.  Pikachu was
riding on Ash's shoulder, as always, and Togepi cheered happily in Misty's
arms.
    "I'm so happy I don't have a match today, aren't you Pikachu?" Ash asked.
Pikachu said his name in reply.
    "It's a good thing to have a break and rest up, or catch new pokemon." 
Brock stated.
    "That's a good idea, Brock," Misty put in, "Ash definitely needs more
pokemon."
    "Okay, then.  I bet there's some really good pokemon around here!  I'll
catch 'em, you wait and see!"  Ash ran off excited for more pokemon, and
wanting to shut Misty up about him needing more pokemon.

Meanwhile, a young blond girl looked at a map that had been delivered just
that morning.  "This is the new place we need to bring color to?" she asked.
    "Yes, Rainbow, that is Pokemon Island.  It's on a planet very similar to
Earth. You had better get going, Starlite is waiting outside," replied a
violet haired girl standing next to her.  The girl, Rainbow Brite, nodded and
went outside.  She got on the white horse outside.  He shook his rainbow mane.
    "To Pokemon Island, Starlite!"  Rainbow shouted.
    "I know that!" Starlite replied.  A small white fluff-ball walked up.
    "Can I come, too?"  It squeaked.
    "Of course, Twink!  Where would I be without you?"   Rainbow replied and
helped Twink onto Starlite behind her.  She activated her rainbow belt and it
made a bridge of colors.  Starlite galloped along it and as they traveled,
the rainbow got longer and disappeared behind them.

Chapter Two: Ash See a Rainbow Pokemon (Or is it?)


    Ash, Misty, Brock, Togepi, and Pikachu looked around the plains
surrounding the Indigo Plateau.  "Not one pokemon in sight," Misty sighed.
    "There's got to be a pokemon!"  Ash kept looking diligently.
    "Pika!"  Pikachu agreed from his shoulder.
    "Hey, what's that?"  Brock said suddenly.  He pointed up at a rainbow
streaking across the sky.  On top of it was a horse with a rainbow mane.
    "Maybe it's a new pokemon!  I've gotta catch it!   Pikachu, thunderbolt
attack!"
Ash shouted happily.  A new pokemon all his!
    "Pi.......ka........CHU!!!!!"  Pikachu shot a giant bolt of electricity
right at the rainbow horse.   The rainbow dissolved and the horse, sprite,
and girl all fell to the ground. Ash threw a pokeball at Starlite, but it
bounced right off, since he wasn't a pokemon.
    "Huh?" Ash sat down puzzled.

On the other side of the rainbow:

    Rainbow Brite looked out over Pokemon Island.  It was filled with all
sorts of colorful and powerful creatures.  "Wow, Twink, we'll be working
double time just to color up this little island!"  She said, voice full of
wonder.
    "Yeah, isn't it great!  All this color could cheer Murky up!"  Twink
added.  All three
laughed.  Just then they heard a voice below them.
    "Hey, what's that?"
    "Can he see us?"  Asked Rainbow.  Twink and Starlite didn't have time to
reply as the thunderbolt attack knocked them from the sky.
